Has the development commenced?

Yes, we have been working on the Airpark development for the last 7 years! Rezoning has been secured and Resource Consent applications have been filed with Waikato District and Regional Councils. Construction of the first stage is due to get underway late this year.

How is the Airpark phase development planned?

The Airpark sections are being released in stages. Our focus is releasing and selling Stage 1 to get the development started. These are the most desirable sections, closest to the runway and amenities. Stage 2 will be released once 80% of Stage 1 sections have been sold. Further stages will be released based on demand. (i.e. if demand is there for smaller sections, then we may prioritise the release of a higher-density stage).

How does Te Kowhai Airpark promote a community atmosphere?

The Airpark is all about developing and supporting a vibrant aviation community for all to enjoy. We have a number of community facilities which are already well utilised and will be further developed. We also have several flying groups and clubs who operate from the Airpark.

Yes, there is a planned upgrade of the main buildings, which will include new  Airpark Owners Association community facilities. Priority of the upgrades will be determined by the members of the Airpark Owners Association.
